Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre

Dr. Kaipit Ganesh Mhatre is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Botany at New Education Society's Arts, Commerce and Science College, Lanja District Ratnagiri Maharashtra State. Dr. Mhatre has extensive research experience in the field of floristics, plant nomenclature, ethno botany and molecular systematics. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Professor, he has worked as a Project Fellow on major research project funded by Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Government of Maharashtra and coordinated by Agharkar Research Institute, Pune on Digitized Inventory of Medicinal Plant Resources of Maharashtra. Dr. Mhatre has attended several national and international conferences and seminars and presented papers in the same. He has 17 publications to his credit in international peer reviewed journals. He is also the author of the book Ethno Medicinal Plants of Raigad District, Maharashtra.
