Dr.K.Chandrasekar

Dr. K. Chandrasekar is presently serving as Assistant Professor at Alagappa Institute of Management, Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He holds MBA., M.Sc.(Psyc)., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Management. Having over 19 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Management, his areas of interest a r e H u m a n R e s o u r c e M a n a g e m e n t , M a r k e t i n g , Entrepreneurship and Logistics Management. He was a UGC – Research Awardee for two years in 2014 and completed three major research projects from UGC & ICSSR funding agencies. He was Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Centre, established under the Scheme by TN Higher Education, for three years and the deputycoordinator of the UGC Innovative Scheme 'MBA-Logistics Management programme' for 5 years. Under his guideship 10 scholars have been awarded Doctoral Degrees and 6 more scholars are pursuing their Doctoral degree, and 15 scholars awarded with M.Phil. Degree. He has published a book on 'Entrepreneurial Training' and edited 2 International conference proceedings till date. He has been the editor of the special volume of the International Journal of Advance & Innovative Research. He has published more than 72 articles in the National and International refereed and indexed Journals and written 15 chapters in the textbooks of Management, presented and published more than 125 papers at national and international Conferences. He serves as an editorial member in a seven national and international refereed journals in management. He has organised 3 inter National Conferences, 3 National Conferences, 2 National Seminars and 4 FDPs on various themes. He is a life member of Indian Society of Technical Education and Indian Academy of Applied Psychology.
