S. V. Hanagodimath

S. V. Hanagodimath obtained his Masters in Economics from Karnatak University, Dharwad with first rank in 2003. He completed his PhD from the same university in 2009 on ‘Public Expenditure on Social Sector in India: With Special Reference on Health and Education’. He has had the experience of working at research institutions like ISEC, Bengaluru and GIDR, Ahmedabad. He also taught Economics at Nehru College, Hubballi and Lorven College, Bengaluru. He is currently Assistant Professor at CMDR, Dharwad. His research interests include Regional Imbalances, Poverty, Economic Growth & Development and Public Finance. He has assisted Government of Karnataka in the preparation of Economic Survey for eight years and has also assisted as researcher for various government initiatives like MGNREGA and in providing assistance to the Election Commission of Karnataka. He has many publications in reputed journals.
