Dr Anjali Bhoyar Borle, MDS, MPhil (HPE) is a Professor, Post Graduate Teacher and PhD Supervisor in the Specialty of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge from the field of Dental Sciences and Convener of Dental Education Unit at Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIMS (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra. She has more than two decades of Academic, Administrative, Clinical and Research experience. The idea of ‘Shortened Dental Arch- An Approach for Partially Edentulous Arches’ is arising out of her clinical encounters, a beneficial treatment approach that can be considered for oral rehabilitation of partially edentulous patients. The authors have attempted to throw light on all aspects of SDA treatment approach for facilitation and implementation of SDA in clinical practice for beginners.

Dr Seema Sathe Kambala, MDS, PhD (Prosthodontics) is currently working as an Professor and Head in Dept. of Prosthodontics, Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIMS (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra. Her research interests include advances in Prosthodontics in the specialty of Esthetic Dentistry and Forensic Dentistry. She is currently guiding various postgraduate and fellow students. She has various national and international publications in the form of original research articles and projects. She is invited as a Guest Speaker in various national and international conferences and has various presentations to her credit.

Dr. Shanvi Agrawal, BDS is a senior resident in Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIMS (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra. She has received her BDS degree from People's Dental Academy, Bhopal, (M.P.).
