Satellite is powerful long distance and point to multi point communication system. A communication satellite is an R.F (Radio Frequency) repeater. To overcome disadvantage of Line of sight communication, the transmitting antenna is placed on the satellite and the satellite is placed in the orbit high above the earth. The function of satellite is to communicate between different earth stations around the earth.

Dr. P. Sivakumar

Dr. P. Sivakumar has obtained B.E., (ECE) Degree from University of MADRAS in1999 and completed his M.Tech (DEAC) from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka (NITK) in 2005. He finished his Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai in 2012. He is presently working as Professor of ECE, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore India. He is having 22 years of Academic Experience, for a short stint he worked in Ethiopia, Middle East. He is a member of ISTE, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Hong Kong, IACSIT Singapore, and SDIWC Hong Kong. He is life Fellow of IETE New Delhi, India and Senior Member of IEEE. His areas of interest are Wireless Communication, Signal Processing, and Wireless Sensor Networks. He has published more than 56 journals and 110 conference papers. He also published three books. Under his supervising one scholar has completed his Ph.D, as of now he is supervising 10 scholars towards their Ph.D. degree.

Ms. L.Mohana Sundari

Ms. L.Mohana Sundari is currently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Saveetha Engineering College , Chennai. She graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Engineering College, University of Madras , Tamilnadu, in the year 2003. She secured her M.E. Degree in Applied Electronics from Anna University in the year 2009. She is pursuing her Ph.D in the Department of Information and Communication at Anna University, Chennai. She has a teaching experience of more than 15 years. She is a life time member of IEI. She has published papers in various International journals and conferences. She also published two books on Antennas. Her area of interest includes Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing and Communication.

Mr. K.P.Senthilkumar

Mr. K.P.Senthilkumar is pursuing his Ph.D in the Department of Information and Communication at Anna University, Chennai. He received his M.E degree in Applied Electronics in the year 2009 from Anna University and B.E degree (ECE) in the year 2006 from Anna University. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of ECE at Easwari Engineering College, Chennai. He has a teaching experience of more than 12 years. He is a member of IAENG and IRED. He has published papers in various International journals and conferences. His area of interest includes Antennas, Image Processing and Communication.
