This book is intended primarily for easiness in understanding of the Operation research techniques and decision making of real time industrial application problems and is designed to raise the standard of the reader, step by step in understanding the concepts of effective and optimal decision making, with clear diagrammatically and procedural explanations. The contents are developed in transition from basics of simplex algorithms to complex advanced simplex algorithms (like Artificial variable techniques, transportation, duality etc) including the generalized approaches and decision making concepts like Transportation, Assignment, Job sequencing and Game theory, without leaving the connectivity between chapters. An attempt is made introducing more number of examples for enhancing easiness in understanding of the changes and assumptions taken in solving them. This book has been structured into three chapters, converging from basic OR simplex algorithms, later extending it to artificial variable techniques and special advanced simplex application like transportation, assignment and job sequencing. In addition, the decision making concepts like game theory for effective decisions, for optimal completion of real time projects are also included. This book covers the syllabi of various Indian universities and of various professional examining societies in India.
