With a distinguished career spanning various leadership roles, he has gained extensive experience in medical education, hospital administration, and public health. Dr. Kumar earned his MBBS from Sri Devraj Urs Medical College, Bangalore University, Karnataka, and completed his MD in Preventive and Social Medicine at N.K.P. Salve Medical College & Research Centre, Nagpur, under MUHS, Nashik, Maharashtra. He also holds a Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management from IGNOU. A highly skilled and adaptable postgraduate professional, Dr. Kumar is fluent in multiple languages and has worked across various capacities in academic, government, and non- government sectors. He is recognized as a proactive and dynamic leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is known for his ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
