Bioethics has evolved into a comprehensive field that critically examines ethical issues arising from advancements in biology, medicine, technology, and health sciences. The rapid pace of scientific innovation has expanded the range of dilemmas confronting society, from artificial intelligence driven diagnostics to genetic manipulation, digital surveillance, biomaterial engineering, and brain–computer interfacing. These advancements hold extraordinary promise for improving human life, yet they also create profound ethical, legal, and social challenges. Bioethics provides the tools to navigate these challenges responsibly. It arises from the need to balance scientific progress with respect for human dignity, autonomy, justice, privacy, and the collective welfare of society. As healthcare becomes increasingly technology-driven and biosciences research grows more complex, the role of bioethics becomes indispensable. This chapter presents a deep exploration of bioethical principles and examines their application across modern fields such as data sciences, genomics, clinical trials, artificial intelligence, robotics, regenerative medicine, synthetic biology, global health, and environmental stewardship. It emphasizes that ethical reasoning is not a constraint on innovation but a fundamental requirement for responsible, equitable, and sustainable scientific progress
