algebra allows the analysis of rotations in space, least squares fitting, solution of coupled differential equations, determination of a circle passing through three given points, as well as many other problems in mathematics, physics, and engineering. The word “linear algebra” is not actually an algebra, in true sense the word "algebra" means a vector space V over a field F. Conveniently we say that Linear Algebra is a systematic approach to solve systems of linear equations having finite number of unknowns. The matrix and determinant are remarkably useful tools of linear algebra. A major problem of linear algebra is the solution of the matrix equation Ax = B. It can be solved by taking inverse of the matrix as x = A-1 B. Later we discuss some other techniques to obtain the solution and present answer to the following questions:
