The word “linear algebra” is not actually an algebra, in true sense the word "algebra" means a vector space V over a field F. Conveniently we say that Linear Algebra is a systematic approach to solve systems of linear equations having finite number of unknowns. The matrix and determinant are remarkably useful tools of linear algebra. A major problem of linear algebra is the solution of the matrix equation Ax = B. It can be solved by taking inverse of the matrix as x = A-1 B. Later we discuss some other techniques to obtain the solution and present answer to the following questions:
