Dr. M. Kanimozhi

Dr. M. Kanimozhi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology at Ethiraj College for Women (Autonomous), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has 15 years of extensive teaching and research experience in the field of Botany, including 4 years at the undergraduate level and 11 years at the postgraduate level. She holds a Ph.D. from the Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany and possesses a strong academic and research background in Plant Physiology, Environmental Biotechnology, Medicinal Plants, and Ethnobotany. She has published several research papers in reputed international journals, holds one patent, and has completed a funded research project in her area of specialization. Dr. Kanimozhi also serves as the Coordinator of the Enviro Club, actively engaging students in environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, she is a committed volunteer in mangrove conservation efforts, working in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Her academic contributions, research pursuits, and environmental advocacy exemplify her dedication to advancing knowledge and promoting sustainability in the field of botanical sciences.

Mr. Sudhir Buddhasen Sharma

Mr. Sudhir Buddhasen Sharma

Mr. Sudhir Buddhasen Sharma is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Sonopant Dandekar Arts, V.S. Apte Commerce, and M.H. Mehta Science College, Palghar, Maharashtra. He has over five years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level and holds an M.Sc. degree from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai in Plant Taxonomy and Phytochemistry. Mr. Sharma has authored three research papers focusing on the study of medicinal plants and their derived products. His areas of expertise include Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany, Palynology, Mangrove Conservation, and Biodiversity Studies. In addition, he has served for four years as a Tree Officer, during which he conducted extensive tree census projects. He also has 02 patent publication to his credit. A passionate environmental advocate, he has delivered numerous speeches on mangrove conservation, biodiversity preservation, and ecological awareness across diverse platforms. Possessing in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine, he has been practicing and formulating traditional remedies for many years. Through innovative applications and formulations of medicinal plants, he has successfully treated numerous patients suffering from arthritis-related pain and swelling, high and low blood pressure, various skin diseases, nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), cholelithiasis (gallstones), vesical calculi (bladder stones), ureteral stones, and diabetes. Mr. Sharma is presently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Mumbai.

Ms. Surekha Ghorpade

Ms. Surekha Ghorpade

Ms. Surekha Ghorpade has been an accomplished educator in the field of chemistry, imparting knowledge to graduate students for the past 13 years. She is currently serving as an assistant professor at the C. H. M. E. Society's Bhonsala Military College, Rambhoomi, Nashik. She holds a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry and a National Eligibility Test (NET) in Chemical Sciences. She is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry. She is the co-author of a book. Her research interests are deeply rooted in the extraction and characterization of natural products for medicinal applications, the study of heterocyclic compounds, catalysis, and computational chemistry. She possesses extensive expertise in the extraction and separation of essential oils, making a significant contribution to the field of natural product chemistry.

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre is currently working as an assistant professor in botany at New Education Society's Shriram Kusumtai Sadashiv Vanjare College, Lanja District Ratnagiri, Maharashtra State. He has total teaching experience of 10 years at UG level. He has completed his Ph.D. from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. He is the author of two books and editor of 13 books. To his credit he has 17 research papers in UGC CARE list and has written 48 chapters in various books. He also has 03 patent publication to his credit. He has vast experience in the field of Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany, Molecular Systematics, Ecology and Anthropology. Apart from academic work, he has been engaged in administrative work also. At institute level, he is being working as a Nodal Officer for various schemes such as Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA) and Atal Ranking of Institution on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA). Dr. Mhatre is a President of Institutional Innovation Council (IIC). He has been designated as a District Sustainability Mentor (DSM) for Ratnagiri District by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Hyderabad.
