Dr. Sudarshana Borah

Dr. Sudarshana Borah, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM), have completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University under the supervision of Dr. Hemanta Kumar Sharma. She has GPAT qualification and also received National Doctoral Fellowship Award as CSIR- Senior Research Fellowship during her Ph.D. research. She has received the INTERNATIONAL YOUNG th SCIENTIST AWARD, 2019 on the 5 International Young Scientist Congress, organized by International Science Community Association, at Mid-Western University, Surkhet, Nepal. Dr. Borah is a Lifetime member of International Science Community Association and Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers' of India. She has also guided students in their research activities in different projects. Dr. Borah has 28 paper publications in journals both National and International, 1 Book, 4 Book Chapters, 2 National awards, 2 International awards and 2 Fellowship awards, and she looks ahead to further carry forward her research activities on ethnomedicinal plants of Northeast India.

Ms. Kabita Mahato

Ms. Kabita Mahato

Kabita Mahato completed her B,Pharm from Dr. B.C.Roy college of Pharmacy and AHS, WBUT and her Masters in Pharmacognosy f rom Dibrugarh University, Assam. She served in pharmaceutical manufacturing organization for a span of 7 years. During her tenure she has helped set up Quality Department which included activities related to procurement via SAP, GLP related Activities and documentations related to Quality Assurance via QMS. She has also been part of “Driving a Quality Culture” and a member of “POSH” in pharmaceutical company. Further she is associated as Assistant Professor in Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Technology, Dubrajpur (BCPT). She has GPAT qualification and is an approved chemist. She has 12 paper publications in journals both national and international and 1 book chapter. She has also presented paper in national conferences and seminars. She is interested in research activities concerning modern development of natural products

Bhanita Das, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), have completed her M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences (RIPANS), Mizoram. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from USTM under the supervision of Dr. Sudarshana Borah, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USTM. Further she has 2 paper publications till now. She has also participated and got shortlisted in TSC, GBP 2022 for her research start-up.

Mr. Kamallochan Barman

Kamallochan Barman, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), have completed his M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Azara, Guwahati-17. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from USTM under the supervision of Dr. Sudarshana Borah, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USTM. Further he has 8 paper publications both Nationally and Internationally. He has also participated and got shortlisted in TSC, GBP 2022 for her research startup

Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Kakoti

Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Kakoti

Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Kakoti, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University have completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jadavpur University and Post Doctoral Studies from University of South Florida (Health) USA. Dr. Kakoti’s area of specialization is Pharmacology (Screening and Evaluation of Plant/Synthetic Drugs). He has received research funds from AICTE (RPS), UGC (MRP), Life Sciences Research Board (DRDO), DST-SERB and including DBT-NE Twinning Project. Dr. Kakoti has guided many students at their B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph.D. level. He has 37 paper publications in journals National and International, 1 Book Chapter and 1 Book.
