In general, climate refers to the average weather condition over a large geographical area for a long period of time. It can be defined, more scientifically, as the statistical description of the average atmospheric conditions of a large geographical area over a longer period of time, generally 30 years according to World Meteorological Organization (WMO). Climate entails the atmospheric conditions in terms of precipitation, temperature, humidity, sunshine, wind, other phenomena such as fog, frost, and hail, storms, and other climatic elements and associated weather events.
