The human activities link with Spatial Information, Virtual Reality environment and
Multimedia applications which were the motivating steps towards the revolution in
computer and communication technologies in the twentieth century [1]. The
transition from the analog to the digital world offered many opportunities in every
walk of life. Telecommunications, internet, digital entertainment, and computing in
general have become an essential part of our daily lives. Moreover, the role of
spatial-information in all kinds of business processes is getting quite transparent.
Terms such as location-specific information and location-based services have
become part of the daily business language to denote the link between Virtual world
of information and the Real world of information [2].
