The elbow is a robust complex joint, which consists of three different
articulations, which are humeroulnar articulation, humeroradial
articulation, and proximal radioulnar articulation. It can endure large
loads during certain activities, particularly in racquet and sports
throwing. In the patho-anatomy of throwing athletes or in the elbow
dislodging and instability, the ligamentous complexes of the elbow are
involved. For the function of the upper extremity the elbow innervated
by important nerves and vessels. It also serves as the origin of the flexor
and extensor that is pronator and supinator musculature of the
forearm.––(1)
