Cybertaxonomy is a contraction of "cyber-enabled taxonomy." It shares the traditional goals of taxonomy: to explore, discover, characterize, name, and classify species; to study their phylogenetic relationships; and to map their geographic distributions and ecological associations. Through cyberinfrastructure and the adoption of digital technologies, cybertaxomy is able to produce results faster and better than ever before (Wheeler 2008, 2010). Cybertaxonomy should not be confused with the practice of creating databases of taxonomic information. Databases are an integral part of the process, but cybertaxonomy refers to a wide range of hardware, software, instrumentation, communication tools, and work practices that collectively allow taxonomists to do their work more efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of excellence. Consequently, users will find taxonomic information more reliable, comprehensive, and easily accessible.

Dr. Sadhana Kesharwani is a Professor and Head, Department of Zoology & Biotechnology. Dr. Arjun Shukla is Faculty of the Department of Zoology, Govt. M.H. College of Home Science, Jabalpur (M.P.). Dr. Arjun has significantly contributed in the field of Zoological Science. Dr. Shraddha Khapre

Dr. Shraddha Khapre is Faculty of the Department of Zoology, Gout, M.H. College of Home Science, Jabalpur. She has worked on Systematic studies of Lepidoptera. She has received many prestigious awards, 05 fellowships and has published about 17 Research abstract and 08 Research articles 05 Magazines, 02 Book Chapter, 02 Research Book in reputed National and International (Web of Science) Journals. She was also honoured by the Young Scientist Award, Vigyan Ratna, Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar. She has attended about 35 conferences/workshops and delivered several invited talks.

Mrs. Rashmi Singrore is Assistant Professor of the Department of Zoology. Mrs. Rashmi has made significant contributions to Biological Science. She has received prestigious Fellowship Award F.S.L.S.C Satna and F.R.E.S London. Mrs. Rashmi has attended/presented research at over 25 Conferences, Seminars & Workshop.
