Biodiversity represents the foundation of life on Earth, encompassing the vast variety of living organisms, their genetic diversity, and the complex ecosystems they form. It underpins ecological stability, supports human livelihoods, and sustains essential ecosystem services such as food production, climate regulation, soil fertility, and water purification. Despite its immense value, global biodiversity is facing unprecedented threats due to anthropogenic pressures, including habitat destruction, climate change, overexploitation of biological resources, pollution, and the introduction of invasive species. The rapid decline of biodiversity has emerged as one of the most critical environmental challenges of the twenty-first century, demanding immediate and scientifically informed conservation efforts
