Today, digital dentistry encompasses every aspect of dental care, enabling both general dentists and orthodontists to provide digitally planned orthodontic treatments. Within orthodontics, clear aligner therapy has gained worldwide popularity as an aesthetic alternative to conventional labial braces, largely due to patients’ preference for improved appearance (Kravitz et al., 2000). Aligner use is generally well-accepted among patients without allergic sensitivities. Its rise has been fueled by the demand for more comfortable and visually appealing options, particularly among adults, compared to traditional fixed appliances. This progress has been supported by advancements in material science, including investigations into the finite strain behavior of polymers such as PETG. Insights into PETG’s response to stress and deformation have enabled the production of aligners that provide controlled orthodontic forces while preserving transparency and patient comfort (Kravitz et al., 2000),(Dupaix & Boyce, 2005)(Alexandros et al., 2015)(Lombardo et al., 2017)
