The human body is a complicated system'(1). One of the body's primary tissue/organ systems is the musculoskeletal system (2). The skeleton system largely consists of bones and cartilage, which are connected to the rest of the tissue of the body through ligaments'(1,3) which, when integrated, contribute in all of the body's movements (2). There are 206 bones in the adult human skeleton. There are roughly 270 bones at birth, with the ultimate adult count dropping as a fraction of these bones fuse through periods of skeletal growth and maturity (4). Appendices such as the upper or lower limbs, the pelvic girdle, and the shoulder strap are part of the appendicular skeleton. The skeletal system has various In addition to contributing to the overall structure of the body, the skeleton's bones perform critical functions such as(3); Structural support for the rest of the body, facilitating mobility and locomotion by functioning as muscle lever, safeguarding critical internal organs and structures, maintaining acid-base mineral balance and homeostasis, acting as a reservoir of factors and cytokines for growth and environmental provision(5) and Triglyceride storage(3).
