An Introduction to Composite Membranes and its Applications in Water Filtration

An Introduction to Composite Membranes and its Applications in Water Filtration

Authors: Dr. Mohd Arsalan, Prof. Rafiuddin,
Format: Paperback | Genre : Envrionmental Science | Other Book Detail

Water demand is defined as the volume of water requested by users to satisfy their needs in daily life. Water is necessary for urban development, power production, growing and processing high-value crops, oil and gas development and processing, and industrial 1 manufacturing. Demand for water, like for food or energy, increases with the growth of the population and gross domestic product (GDP) pro-capita. In addition to the growth of the population, the generation of wealth worldwide also translates into increased consumption, 2resulting in increased water demand . Satisfying all of these competing needs requires a better understanding of water resources and new approaches to water management
