The different general practices viz. smoking, eating, and application of cosmetics are prohibited. Protective garment must be worn over clothing. Shoes should be made of nonporous material with closed toes and heels. Contact lenses should be discouraged. goggles or face shields are recommended if contact lenses are worn. Dangling jewelry, long hair, and beards are not allowed. Mouth pipetting should be strictly prohibited.

Dr. Monalisa Mohanty

Dr. (Ms.) Monalisa Mohanty was born on 18th July 1980 in Bhubaneswar in the State of Orissa (India) and awarded with Ph.D. degree in 2010 from Utkal University, M.Sc. Botany (2000-2002) with specialization in Plant Physiology a n d B i o c h e m i s t r y a n d M . P h i l . ( 2 0 0 4 - 0 5 ) w i t h Environmental Physiology as elective paper from Utkal University Orissa (India). She has about 10 years of teaching and research experience in Botany in different central and state government institutions like Regional Institution of Education, NCERT, Bhubaneswar, Department of Botany, Utkal University, Dhenkanal Autonomous College, Dharanidhar Auto College and presently working as Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at Rama Devi Women's University, Odisha, India. Dr. Mohanty received awards on such as Prof. B.K. Nanda Memorial Award for the year 2007 by Orissa Botanical Society, Best Oration Award by UGC-DRS in 2010,2011, Junior Scientist of the Year award-2011 conferred by International board of awards of the academy (National Environmental Science Academy). She has published more than 60 articles and 4 book chapters in International and national Journals and guided several M.Phil, Msc. Dissertation with one Ph.D. scholar. She has expertise in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Environmental Biotechnology, Stress Physiology, Enzymology, Environmental Physiology, Environmental Management system, Pharmacology and pharmaceutical Sciences. Besides these she had also presented papers in national and international conferences. Dr. Mohanty is also an editorial Board Member of the international Journals viz. “Journal of Toxicology Research” Scientia Ricerca, Dr. Mohanty is serving as a member in Association of “Indian Science Congress Association”, “National Environmental Science Academy”, New Delhi, Orissa Botanical Society, Orissa, India.
